At Sway, we believe in making payments simple, fast, and secure for small businesses. Our goal is to give you control over your payment processes while also reducing the costs associated with traditional payment methods. Here's a detailed look at our payment methods:

Bank Payments

With bank payments, your customers can pay directly from their bank account. This payment method leverages open banking technology, providing a seamless, secure payment process.

How It Works:

1. Generate a QR Code: Using the Sway app, create a unique QR code for each payment request. This code contains all the details for the transaction.
2. Customer Scans QR Code: The customer uses their smartphone to scan the QR code, which will open their banking app.
3. Payment Confirmation: The customer authorises the payment within their banking app. The transaction is processed instantly, and the funds are transferred directly to your bank account.

Cost:

Bank Payments via Open Banking are completely free. Sway doesn't charge you any transaction fees for this type of payment, regardless of your pricing plan.

Card Payments

We understand that not all customers use or prefer bank payments. That's why we offer card payments as a convenient alternative.

How It Works:

1. Customer Chooses Card Payment: On the payment screen, the customer selects the 'Card Payment' option.
2. Enter Card Details: The customer securely enters their card information OR they can simply click to pay with Apple or Google Pay.
3. Payment Confirmation: Once the card details are confirmed, the payment is processed. The funds will be transferred to your bank account daily and might need a couple of days to be processed and available for you to use.

Cost:

For Card Payments, we charge a small fee of 1.5% per transaction. This cost helps us cover the charges imposed by card companies and enables us to provide this convenient option to you and your customers.
